A live electro-acoustic composition based on the sonic geographies of an urban environment via site specific field recording, in conjunction with instrumental performance. Audience members have an open invitation to follow this process from its outset by being on site with the artists. Instruments and environment are utilised to articulate and extend the rhythm, hum and density of various urban and industrial spaces in a chosen city and it ́s surroundings, capturing the human, mechanical and synthetic variants that reside within it. Specific microphone placement and instrumental performance in response to these chosen spaces are used to highlight and distort the sonic environment. The outcome of these field recordings is a live concert presentation of the process, bringing the city's sound into a performance space whilst mapping the sonic and psychogeographic relationships that reside there.
